Jonathan Woodgate has started full training with Real Madrid as the Spanish side begin pre-season. The 25-year-old did not play a single game for Madrid last season after signing from Newcastle for 13.4m.
Woodgate suffered a recurrence of a torn thigh muscle that eventually ruled him out for the entire campaign.
Raul, Pablo Garcia and Carlos Diogo were the only three players to miss the session, which comprised medical tests and light physical exercise.
