Northern Ireland U-21s have been drawn againt Liechtenstein in the preliminary round for the European Championships. If Roy Millar's side manage to overcome the minnows in the two-legged encounter they will face Germany and Romania in the group stages.
The tie must be played before 15 July with N Ireland away for the first leg.
The Republic of Ireland will take on Belguim and Greece in the group phase if they can beat Azerbaijan in their preliminary round game.
The Republic must make the long trip to Azerbaijan for the first leg.
Friday's draw was made in Montreux, Switzerland, by Holland manager Marco van Basten.
