Real Madrid midfielder Luis Figo has agreed to return to the international scene and play for Portugal again. The 32-year-old former skipper retired in August 2004, just a month after his side had lost in the final of the European Championship to Greece.
"Luis Figo agreed with the request by the Portuguese Foootball Federation president and coach Luiz Felipe Scolari to play again," said an FPF statement.
Figo already has 110 caps for Portugal, scoring 31 times in the process.
