Krankl calls up three new faces
Sturm Graz midfielder Jurgen Saumel
Jurgen Saumel could win his first cap
Austria coach Hans Krankl has named three uncapped players in his 18-man squad for Wednesday's friendly against Scotland in Graz.

Sturm Graz midfielder Jurgen Saumel and defensive clubmate Ronald Gercallu have been called in along with SV Ried striker Sanel Kuljik.

But there is no place yet for Rapid Vienna captain Steffen Hofmann.

Hoffman, capped by Germany at Under-17 level, was switching his nationality in the hope of being selected for Austria.

The 24-year-old, married to an Austrian, is able to switch his nationality under Fifa's statutes regarding eligibility because he has never played for Germany at senior level.

Middlesbrough defender Emanuel Pogatetz is the only British-based player in the Austria squad to face Scotland.
