 | SHOULD SAVAGE RETURN? |
Robbie Savage has failed to win a Wales squad recall for the 17 August friendly against Slovenia in Swansea.
Savage, 30, has not played for Wales under new manager John Toshack since his vitriolic attack on the new regime last season.
The player initially retired from international football, but has since said through the media that he was wrong to attack Toshack in public and that he wants to be considered for selection again.
However, Savage has not spoken personally to Toshack to apologise and the manager has consistently remained tight-lipped about the situation.
BBC Wales' football pundits have their say on the row that has split the national game.

If a player says the things Robbie came out with about a manager's training methods and the set-up of the camp - in football you have to get rid of him.
I think that John [Toshack] is too strong a character to think about asking him back.
He's also a manager who is looking to the future of a Wales side who can't now qualify for the next World Cup.
He wants players who can stay around for perhaps the next four years, not the next two.

I'm a good friend of Robbie's and I've tried to advise him, but I don't think he likes the advice or opinions of others.
I said that if we wanted to make an apology he shouldn't go through the media, but that he needed to pick up the phone and call John.
He needs to show his passion and stress how much he wants to be a Welsh international.
He hasn't done that and has tried to do it through the media and the press - I don't think John will feel that is the right way to go about things.

As things stand, unless Robbie picks up the phone there's not much chance of him getting back into the squad.
Opinion is split on the issue, but I don't think that a recall would be right for Welsh football.
There's a fantastic opportunity for the young lads to come through, and Toshack is not a manager who will be afraid to play the raw talent.
Jason Koumas is not match fit yet, but he has true quality, and it's also great to see Simon Davies back to fitness.
Elsewhere, it's good to see Danny Gabbidon and James Collins in the Premiership with West Ham, and I'd like to see Lewis Price given a chance in goal.
It's the first international at Swansea's New Stadium so it should be a full house and an exciting time for everyone in Wales.
