Thuram retired after France's poor Euro 2004 campaign |
Lilian Thuram has followed Zinedine Zidane and Claude Makelele out of international retirement. Juventus defender Thuram, 33, has 103 caps and helped France win the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000.
"France coach Raymond Domenech has selected me for the match against the Ivory Coast and I have decided to accept the invitation," said Thuram.
"I must admit I was quite confused when I received the offer but I won't go back on my decision."
