Scotland's friendly with Sweden next month will take place at Easter Road after the SFA admitted it feared a sparse crowd if it was held at Hampden. The announcement comes amid continuing uncertainty over the future of national manager Berti Vogts.
"It is only realistic to expect a smaller crowd for this match," said SFA spokesman Andy Mitchell.
"With Hampden likely to fall well short of capacity we hope the fans will come along to back the team in Edinburgh."
He added: "We have had a great crowd for the two recent friendlies at Easter Road, against Canada in 2002 and against Trinidad and Tobago in May this year."
The match takes place on Wednesday 17 November.
