 Duff joined Chelsea for �17m last month |
Chelsea midfielder Damien Duff has been recalled to Ireland's squad for the friendly against Australia later this month. Duff, who joined Chelsea last month for �17m from Blackburn Rovers, missed the win over Georgia in a Euro 2004 qualifier in June.
He had injured his leg in the win over Albania four days earlier.
Liverpool defender Steve Finnan, Birmingham City striker Clinton Morrison and Newcastle United defender Andy O'Brien also return after injury.
Ireland play Australia at Lansdowne Road on 19 August.
