1513BST: Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila has signed a new deal with the French first division side, extending his current deal by a year to 2015. M'Vila who was attracting interest from several Premier League sides, did not rule out a move in the future, saying: "I still have some progress to make, whether that's here or elsewhere."

CHELSEA GOSSIP

Chelsea are stepping up their efforts to hire Turkey boss Guus Hiddink as Carlo Ancelotti's replacement at Stamford Bridge. Hiddink had a spell as caretaker boss of the Blues before Ancelotti was hired.

The 83-year-old Wigan died from a heart attack in the final moments of the side's 3-2 win over West Ham last week. In the aftermath of the win over Stoke, which secured Wigan's Premier League survival, Martinez said: "We would like to dedicate this moment to George and his family."
