Aldershot 1 - 2 Tranmere

Tranmere will host Premier League Wolves in the FA Cup third round after goals from Ian Thomas-Moore and Terry Gornell saw off battling Aldershot.

Rovers took the lead against the run of play when Thomas-Moore volleyed in from an angle just before half-time.

The visitors made it 2-0 shortly after the break when Gornell squeezed the ball home from an acute angle.

Aldershot kept on pushing but Oliver Bozanic's scrambled finish in injury time was all they had to show for it.

Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon told BBC Surrey:

"Apart from two errors, I thought we did ok. I think in the end Tranmere probably deserved to win.

"But if Oli had scored probably 10 minutes earlier I think we might have been getting back in the game because we were putting them under a lot of pressure, especially when we went with two upfront."

Tranmere caretaker manager Les Parry told BBC Radio Merseyside:

"For the first 15 minutes we controlled the game and then for some reason we took our foot off the pedal and let them back into it.

"They were unfortunate to go in 1-0 down at half time.

"But once we scored the second goal Aldershot were always facing an uphill battle and I thought we controlled it."
