Stockport's FA Cup second round match against Torquay has been called off because of a waterlogged pitch.

The Edgeley Park surface was inspected on Saturday morning following heavy rain in the area, and the game is now likely to be played on 8 December.

Stockport reached the second round with a 5-0 defeat of Tooting & Mitcham, while Torquay beat Cheltenham 3-1.

On Friday, Wasps' rugby union game with Sale was controversially postponed at the last minute due to surface water.
