Droylsden kept alive their hopes of a third-round FA Cup tie at Ipswich after earning a controversial draw against Chesterfield in the second round.
The visitors protested furiously when Chesterfield's Jack Lester lobbed the keeper from a throw-in after Droylsden had put the ball out of play.
The home side then allowed Steve Halford to walk unchallenged into their half to tap the ball in for 2-2.
Jamie Ward had given Chesterfield the lead before Alex Brown headed level.
