Two goals from Francis Green saw Macclesfield book their place in the FA Cup third round with a win away to fellow League Two side Port Vale.
Green opened the scoring in the ninth minute when he thumped home following Martin Gritton's header.
Louis Dodds briefly pulled Port Vale level from a Danny Glover cross before Green got his second goal of the night after a poor Luke Prosser backpass.
Gritton added a third in the last minute to secure their progress.
