Jermaine Beckford scored a hat-trick as Leeds swept aside Northampton to reach the second round of the FA Cup.
Beckford put Leeds in front before Jonathan Howson's shot went in after a huge deflection off Mark Hughes and Ben Parker's 35-yard drive made it 3-0.
Jason Crowe headed in Luke Guttridge's corner for Northampton but Beckford soon curled in a brilliant strike.
His hat-trick came in the second half when he slotted in Neil Kilkenny's pass before Crowe headed a late consolation.
Leeds will face non-league Histon, who saw off League One opponents Swindon, in the second round.
