Tranmere had to twice come from behind to earn a replay on Tuesday week against League Two Hereford. Ben Smith's 65th-minute volley put the visitors in front after Calvin Zola had wasted two good chances for Rovers.
The home side drew level with 15 minutes remaining, Steven Jennings' shot going in off the crossbar.
Hereford hit back just a minute later through a great Trevor Benjamin strike, but Gareth Taylor's header 12 minutes from time secured Tranmere a replay.
