Bristol Rovers win 6-5 on penalties

Bristol Rovers striker Rickie Lambert scored from the penalty spot during the game and in the shoot-out

Bristol Rovers beat Leyton Orient 6-5 on penalties to reach the FA Cup second round after a pulsating tie.

Craig Hinton put Rovers ahead early on but Adam Boyd levelled before Orient's Wayne Corden was sent off for a foul.

Ten-man Orient took the lead through Wayne Gray's shot, but on 90 minutes Jabo Ibehre was sent off for handball and Rickie Lambert scored the penalty.

Amazingly, Boyd netted a spot-kick to put nine-man Orient 3-2 up, but Craig Disley levelled to force penalties.
