Burton substitute Darren Stride scored a late equaliser to ensure that the non-league team are in Sunday's draw for the third round of the FA Cup. The central defender came on as an emergency striker with Albion trailing and converted John McGrath's 86th-minute cross to equalise.
The League Two visitors dominated the match and grabbed their goal through a Liam Hatch volley on 19 minutes.
Barnet finished the game with 10 men after Nicky Nicolau was sent off.
