Northampton recovered from going behind early on to earn an FA Cup first round replay against Darlington. Darlington went ahead after eight minutes when Julian Joachim found Gregg Blundell, who fired past keeper Mark Bunn from 12 yards.
The home side almost doubled their lead when Michael Cummings struck a post, but Northampton hit back to equalise after 26 minutes.
