Christian Roberts and Billy Paynter came off the bench to score as Swindon reached the FA Cup second round. Roberts struck on 66 minutes, taking advantage of an error by Tommy Williams to beat keeper Frank Fielding.
And they doubled their lead five minutes later when Barry Corr set up Paynter to side-foot home a fine finish from the edge of the penalty area.
Wycombe pulled one back seven minutes from time when Matt Bloomfield scored after a mix-up in the Swindon defence.
