Morecambe 0-2 Port Vale
New Port Vale boss Lee Sinnott started his reign with an FA Cup first round win at Morecambe.

Vale captain George Pilkington headed them in front after only four minutes and Callum Willcock added the second 18 minutes later to settle the tie.

Morecambe hit back, with Joe Anyon making fine saves from Wayne Curtis' header and Craig Stanley's volley.

Carl Baker hit the crossbar with a fine effort in the second half but Morecambe could not find a way past Anyon.
