Mark McCammon and Paul Heffernan got the goals as Doncaster eased to victory over Mansfield to set up an FA Cup tie against Premiership side Bolton. Mansfield rarely got out of first gear in a tame performance, with home keeper Ben Smith comfortable throughout.
McCammon opened the scoring in the first half when he strode on to Brian Stock's throughball to finish well.
And he then set up the second for Heffernan to drill home expertly from 12 yards as the hosts cruised home.
