Histon held out until just after the break when Phil Jevons put Yeovil ahead from the penalty spot after a handball.

Lee Johnson doubled the lead after a fine run from Bartosz Tarachulski but Neil Kennedy pulled a goal back for Histon from Ian Cambridge's cross.

Histon pressed for an equaliser before Yeovil clinched a third-round place in the fourth minute of injury time when Tarachulski set up Yemi Odubade.
