| Challis hit the bar for the Shrews | Histon became the first team to knock out League opposition in this season's FA Cup with victory over struggling League Two side Shrewsbury. Ian Cambridge gave the Southern League Premier Division side the lead with a close-range strike after four minutes. Shrewsbury piled forward after the break but Histon's defence held firm. Trevor Challis hit the woodwork for the Shrews before Charles Liban wrapped up the win with a superb lob from the edge of the box in stoppage time.
