Nicky Butt might have played his final game for Manchester United in Saturday's FA Cup final. Butt, a substitute in United's 3-0 win over Millwall, wanted to leave in January because of a lack of first-team action, but then changed his mind.
"I made the decision to stay in January and I stand by that," said the tough-tackling 29-year-old.
"But the manager might have different thoughts in the summer. I don't know where I stand at the minute."
Butt added: "If you leave Manchester United you are taking a step down. I am trying not to think about it just now but I will look at it again after the summer is over."
