Bishop's Cleeve striker Kevin Slack has been voted FA Cup player of the round. Slack was up against Shepshed Dynamo's Chris Henson and Skelmersdale United's Lee Thompson after the first qualifying round of the competition.

The manager added: "Kevin has become a bit of a local celebrity this week."
Slack's nomination was supported by BBC radio Gloucestershire , who encouraged people to vote for him.
"It's absolutely amazing to win the award, I can't believe that the voting turned round so much," said Slack.
"BBC Radio Gloucestershire was fantastic and really supported me throughout the week. I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who voted."

He also wins an engraved silver salver and is guaranteed a VIP seat at the FA Cup final next May and a half-time introduction to the crowd.
