BBC has the Cup final covered!
This year's FA Cup final on television, radio, and interactively on the web and Ceefax from midday on Saturday 17 May.

Television

Match of the Day, BBC1, 1210-1720 BST

The BBC's top team will be in Cardiff to convey all the action and drama from this year's FA Cup final.

John Motson will overtake Kenneth Wolstenholme's commentary record as he picks up the microphone for the 24th time at an FA Cup Final.

And Motty will be joined by Trevor Brooking, fresh from his stint as caretaker manager at West Ham.

The team will be able to boast 13 Cup winners' medals between them, with Alan Hansen, Mark Lawrenson, Peter Schmeichel and Mark Hughes joining Gary Lineker in the studio.

And in the 'Star Bar', Dermot O'Leary will be hanging out with the likes of EastEnders Natalie Cassidy (Sonia Jackson), Michelle Ryan (Zoe Slater) and James Alexandrou (Martin Fowler) plus Alan Davies, Paul Kaye and possibly even the king of the jungle himself, Phil Tufnell!

The pre-match build-up will include reflections on six decades of FA Cup history, in-depth interviews with managers and players, and 'Goal of the Tournament' with Radio 1's Chris Moyles and Comedy Dave.

And if that's not enough to keep you hooked from your armchair, just one press of the red button will give viewers access all our regular interactive services during the game, including...

  • Commentary options, offering the choice slightly more partisan coverage from BBC London 94.9 or BBC Radio Solent.
  • The chance to listen to commentary from the young winners of our Mini Mike competition.
