Blades to face London giants

Sheffield United's reward for beating Leeds in the FA Cup quarter-finals is a semi-final tie against holders Arsenal.

The other tie will be between another First Division side, Watford, and Premiership Southampton.

Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock insists his side can upset the giants - but claims his priority is still promotion.

"If you are asking me would I like to lead my team out at Cardiff in May, I would ask you which date because I'm still more concerned about getting there for the play-offs."

They have beaten two Premiership sides already in the competiton and will fancy their chances of beating a third

Warnock added: "I certainly don't think it is beyond the realms of possibility that we can win the semi-final."

Arsene Wenger insisted he had respect for the Blades.

"They're a team with a positive attitude. They are technically good and prepared to go forward," he said.

Arsenal's England defender Sol Campbell said: "I've seen Sheffield United play a few times and they're a good little side.

"They won't make it easy for anybody because they have a lot of very good players."

Watford boss Ray Lewington said he expected Southampton would be delighted to draw his First Division underdogs.

He said: "I should imagine the Southampton lads will be jumping up and down.

"We were the side everyone wanted, but we have sprung surprises before and there may be another one around the corner."

Saints boss Gordon Strachan was not prepared to count his chickens.

Strachan said: "Fans of both clubs will think they have a fantastic chance of getting to the final.

"I know Watford extremely well because they are one of the teams I find it easiest to go and watch.

"They have beaten two Premiership sides already in the competiton and will fancy their chances of beating a third."
