Chelsea coach Claudio Ranieri has set his sights on the FA Cup Final and a Champions League place after cruising to victory at Stoke City.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Jesper Grokjaer scored to keep Chelsea on course for a second successive FA Cup Final appearance with a 2-0 win at The Britannia Stadium.

And Ranieri was in confident mood as he hailed his side's new tough attitude as the key to their success this season.

Ranieri said: "The priority for us is to always to try to take the club forward. I'd like to be at the FA Cup Final, like last season, and in the first four places in the Premier League.

"I'd like to win silverware in England. I won in Italy, Spain and now I'd like to try to win here.

"I think we have a new attitude this year. I'm pleased because we are playing against everybody with the same attitude and spirit.

"It was a very tough match. Stoke came at us and worked hard, but we started the second half much more rapidly.

"The first goal was very important. Once Jimmy scored there was more space and Gronkjaer was able to finish the game."

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis said: "Chelsea are one of the best sides around and they proved they are in the top four in this country.

"Concentration when you haven't got the ball is often the key against quality teams, and sometimes we got caught when we were in possession.

"But the players did well. This was a day for the fans as well and think they enjoyed it.

"Niow we've got to concentrate on the First Division, and hopefully some of the money we have got from our FA Cup run will enable us to bring a couple of players in."
