After a 1-1 draw at St James' Park, Dennis Bergkamp delivered a Dutch masterclass to send Arsenal into the FA Cup semi-final at Newcastle's expense.

Arsenal are given a mighty fright by courageous First Division side Gillingham before easing through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

The game was finely balanced at 2-2 until the 67th minute, when skipper Tony Adams scored to put his side on track for victory.

A Dennis Bergkamp goal helped Arsenal avenge last season's FA Cup final defeat at the hands of Liverpool.

But the game ignited as Bergkamp was dismissed for a foul on Jamie Carragher, who was then sent-off for throwing a coin back into the crowd.
