Yeboah in tax probe
Tony Yeboah and Georg Koch
Tony Yeboah has a few questions to answer
Striker Tony Yeboah will have to answer charges of tax evasion in court in August, according to his lawyer.

The former-Leeds United player, now with German club Hamburg SV, has allegedly not paid tax on DM2.3m (about 0.75m) he received after extending his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt in 1993.

"What must be established is whether the evasion was deliberate," his lawyer Thomas Kruppa said.

"I can't see any malice because he did not have a good command of the language in which the contract was written," he added.

The trial of the 34-year-old Ghanaian will start on 3 August.
