Porto comfortably kept Atletico Madrid at bay to reach the Champions League quarter-finals on away goals.
Having conceded twice at home, the pressure was on Atletico to score and they could find no way past a solid Porto backline.
Porto had the best chance of the first half but Leo Franco saved sharply from Fernando's low strike.
And the Atletico keeper made a string of superb saves in the second half as Porto deservedly went through.
Franco tipped over a Raul Meireles cross-shot and from the resulting corner, pushed Cristian Rodriguez's bullet header over the bar.
Only a few minutes later, he kept out a swerving volley by Lucho.
Lisandro Lopez, who scored both Porto's goals in the first leg, also struck the post from an acute angle 10 minutes from time.
