Bangor manager Nevill Powell knows that his side will be battling the odds against Midtjylland.
"We don't know a lot about them at the moment, but they are a very useful side with a couple of internationals who will expect to beat us," Powell told BBC Sport Wales.
"The Danes are traditionally tough customers and they are used to playing in front of crowds of 10-15,000.
"We're switching the first leg to Wrexham's Racecourse ground, that will be a boost for us.
"The other good thing is that they are like us in that they don't play summer football and haven't started their season yet.
"It's going to be a trip into the unknown, but our lads will look forward to it."
The New Saints managing director Mike Harris said his team would take heart from Rhyl's narrow Uefa Cup defeat to Suduva two years ago.
"We don't know a lot more about them, but Rhyl ran them close," he told BBC Sport Wales.
"That will give us hope for the games."
