Spurs say PSV game will go ahead

PSV have the advantage after a 1-0 win in the first leg
Tottenham have moved to reassure fans that Wednesday's Uefa Cup tie second leg at PSV Eindhoven will go ahead, despite a strike by Dutch police.

PSV's match against Ajax on Sunday was one of a number of matches in Holland postponed because of the strike.

But Tottenham said on their website: "At this point, our Uefa Cup return leg against PSV in Eindhoven on Wednesday night remains unaffected.

"We shall update fans should the position change."

Tottenham will travel to PSV 1-0 down from the first leg after Jefferson Farfan scored what could be a crucial away goal following an error by Spurs debutant Gilberto.

But their 4-0 thrashing of West Ham on Sunday should have put Spurs in a more positive frame of mind, as it ended a run of back-to-back defeats.
