Tom Huddlestone and Darren Bent rightly lead your votes on our Player Rater for their starring roles in Spurs' comeback win tonight, while Touzani is far and away the man of the match for Aberdeen. Unsurprisingly, Stelios wins your votes for Bolton, though Wilhelmsson's family might have to log on and get involved because the Swede is limping along at barely over three out of 10. Ouch.
"Another Megson miracle! Looks like changing managers is the way to go these days."
kinghenrythe14th on 606
"Bolton were absolutely disgraceful tonight... awful. They deserved to lose and were very, very lucky indeed to draw - they were totally outplayed."
Scubar2k8 on 606
2151 - FULL-TIME Bolton 1-1 Salonika
And it was not before time from Stelios, as the referee blows up for full-time seconds after the restart. That could be a crucial point for the Trotters, but they left it oh, so late.
2149 - GOAL! Bolton 1-1 Salonika
Stelios saves Bolton! Danny Guthrie's long ball finds its way to the Greek midfielder eight yards out, and Stelios chests down and fires into the corner to rescue a point for the Trotters against his countrymen.
2145: Bolton are piling numbers forward now, but chances are still hard to come by for the Premier League outfit...
2140: Audacious from Salonika's Nacho, who attempts to chip Jaaskalainen from fully 45 yards and forces a fine fingertip save from the Bolton keeper.
2138: Nolan goes close to a leveller again, but his side-footed shot flies less than a foot over the bar from 20 yards after he was found by Nicolas Anelka.
"Who are these people and what have they done with the real Spurs?"
ElSquirrel on 606
2137 - FULL-TIME Tottenham 3-2 Aalborg
And that's the last of the action at White Hart Lane as Spurs secure a fine comeback win. It could have been more comfortable in the end had they found their finishing boots, but Juande Ramos will accept 3-2 gratefully after that first half. Spurs now top their Group and look in good shape to qualify.
2136: More brilliant work from Darren Bent, who has looked impressive in his little cameo, as he slides Steed Malbranque free in the box. The Frenchman rounds the keeper but blazes high and not very handsome with the goal gaping.
"Disappointing week for Scottish football, two Scot teams play and two defeats, are we on the slide again?" Ian, Glasgow via text
2135 - FULL-TIME Atletico 2-0 Aberdeen
That's it in Spain, a deserved win for Atletico but a brave performance from the Dons nonetheless. It does leave the Scottish outfit bottom of their group, though, and with a mountain to climb to reach the latter stages of the competition.
"To Rachel, 2033, the only difference is Spurs know how to win!"
Anon via text
2134: Aaron Lennon should have wrapped it up for Tottenham, the winger set free by Huddlestone and driving into the box, but his driven finish is well saved by Zaza, who has kept Aalborg in it in this second half.
2133: There will be two added minutes in Madrid, but the hosts are controlling things and Aberdeen need a miracle.
2131: Spurs are looking to finish in style at the Lane as Darren Bent strides in from the left-hand side and slides to Boateng, whose firm drive is saved comfortably by Zaza.
2129: Pascal Chimbonda almost sets up a fourth for Spurs, his header cleared off Bent's toes yards from goal by Jakobsen.
2126: Diouf's free-kick finds Meite, but the defender's header goes wide. Better pressure, though, from Bolton who look like they have some sort of urgency at last.
2124: Mista drives inches over the Aberdeen bar from 18 yards, but it looks done for the Dons.
2122: It should be level at the Reebok - Stelios cutting back for Nolan, but the midfielder's strike flies wide from 16 yards. Smashingmeiterules will be happy - Diouf and Anelka are coming on...
"Why haven't we put Diouf and Anelka on at half time? We desperately need at least one goal if we are to qualify for the next round. So put our strikers on! Play the ultimate trio!!!"
smashingmeiterules on 606
2118: Still not a great deal happening at the Reebok - apart from Cid wearing Papadopoulos's studs in the thighs - as Salonika do their best to nullify the game.
2117: Kevin-Prince Boateng will make his home debut for Spurs, with Berbatov making way for the young midfielder. Berba deigns to smile as he applauds the home fans on his way off - things must be going Spurs' way.
2115: De Visscher breaks well down the right-hand side for Aberdeen but his clipped cross goes behind. Good fight this from the Scots, who aren't laying down in Madrid.
2112: Half-chance for Aberdeen as Miller fails to turn Byrne's cross goalwards with the keeper stranded.
2109 - GOAL! Tottenham 3-2 Aalborg
Well, Spurs might breathe a little easier at least now - Darren Bent completing a brilliant comeback as he pokes home from Aaron Lennon's cross-shot after Gareth Bale's free-kick was palmed back into play by Aalborg keeper Zaza. No more than Spurs deserve on this second half performance at all and it's fair to say Ramos did indeed earn his corn at the break.
2108: It would appear Bolton have switched to 4-4-2 at the Reebok, with Stelios joining Kevin Davies up front. At last, a more attacking option from the hosts...
2106: Just in case Spurs were thinking of getting comfortable, Risgard has a pop at the other end and it goes narrowly wide. Paul Robinson looked to have it covered, but a little warning for the Londoners.
2104: Back underway at Bolton...
2103 - GOAL! Atletico 2-0 Aberdeen
That's cruel - a blinding 30-yard free-kick from Simao comes strikes the post, but creeps over the line after ricocheting back towards goal off the shoulder of Dons keeper Langfield. .
"Whatever Spurs have had, I'll have a double."
dirk-kuyt18 on 606
2100: Close again from Tottenham - Berbatov almost finding Bent's clever run behind the defence, but Califf's sliding tackle just takes the ball away from the England frontman.
2058: Maxi Rodriguez is the next to go close for Atletico, the number 11 pulling free in the box and driving at goal, only for his effort to be blocked well.
2055: Out in Madrid and Aberdeen continue to compete well in the face of some quality work from Atletico. Forlan goes close with a drive, but it comes to nothing and if the Dons could just get a goal...
2053 - GOAL! Tottenham 2-2 Aalborg
Ber-limey - that was an impressive half-time team-talk! Spurs are a completely different proposition this half, with Huddlestone pulling the strings, and Steed Malbranque draws the hosts level with a fine finish into the top corner from Robbie Keane's lay-off.
2050 - GOAL! Tottenham 1-2 Aalborg
Well, talk about an effective half-time team-talk! An immediate impact from substitute Tom Huddlestone, the midfielder taking just 40 seconds to make his mark in his first appearance under Ramos, slipping a delightful ball through the Aalborg defence for Dimitar Berbatov to run onto and slide home.
2049: We're underway again in Madrid and Tottenham...
2048: A couple of changes from Juande Ramos at White Hart Lane - Darren Bent and Tom Huddlestone replacing Young Pyo-Lee and Jermaine Jenas who, to my mind, was one of Spurs' better players in that first half.
"Aris will sit back and hold, its what they're good at, holding on, Bolton now have to play high tempo football."
thyra7 on 606
2046 - HALF-TIME: Bolton 0-1 Salonika That's the last action of the half at the Reebok and the hosts have a lot of work to do from here.
2045: It should be 1-1 immediately as Andy O'Brien somehow hits the bar with the goal gaping from Kevin Davies's flick-on.
2043 - GOAL! Bolton 0-1 Salonika
Ooh - something to report from the Reebok, but it's not good news for Trotters fans. Meite's header only falls as far as Calvo Toni, whose 20-yard volley crashes into the far corner. No more than the visitors deserve, that.
2042: As for Aberdeen, Touzani and Diamond are leading the way for the visitors, with Forlan topping the scoring for Atletico on our Player Rater. Web users, have your say now...
2041: Spurs left-back Gareth Bale is the highest scorer in our Player Rater as things stand, but the Tottenham players are failing to hit the heights of Aalborg. Which is hardly surprising given that first half.
2037: I'd love to be giving you more highlights from Bolton's match against Salonika, but to say it's uninspired at the Reebok Stadium would be an understatement to say the least.
2033 - HALF-TIME Atletico 1-0 Aberdeen
And it's half-time in Madrid too, with that late Forlan goal a heart-break for Aberdeen who had started to hold their own after somehow weathering the early storm.
"Spurs think they're England..."
Rachel, Lincoln via text
2032 - HALF TIME: Tottenham 0-2 Aalborg
Half time at White Hart Lane, with the hosts booed from the field. Robbie Keane has a late chance with an ambitious overhead kick 12 yards out but it would have been barely deserved had Spurs reduced the deficit. Juande Ramos will have to earn his corn at the break, I tell you...
2030 - GOAL! Atletico 1-0 Aberdeen
Late drama in Madrid as Diego Forlan hands the hosts the lead on the stroke of half-time from the penalty spot. Aguero earned the spot-kick after he was hauled down by Michael Hart.
2029: Stelios plays a lovely one-two with Cid at Bolton, but the midfielder's chipped ball evades Kevin Davies at the far post.
2025: Decent response from Spurs - who have Darren Bent warming up already - as Jermaine Jenas drives into the box only for Robbie Keane's clipped pass to zip just out of the midfielder's reach.
2024: Close from Salonika at Bolton - Sergio Koke laying ball back to Diodo Siston 20 yards out, but his curler goes a yard wide.
2022 - GOAL! Tottenham 0-2 Aalborg
More superb football from Aalborg and it's 0-2 - Risgard bundling home from Prica's pin-point cross and it's disastrous stuff from Spurs at White Hart Lane.
2020: Saj Chowdhury - your reporter on the Bolton match this evening - reckons Danny Guthrie is pulling the strings at the Reebok without much support from his team-mates so far. The hosts' 4-5-1 formation appears to be keeping chances to a premium so far.
2018: Aberdeen's Jackie McNamara is stretchered off in Madrid with a serious-looking hamstring injury.
"I think, after watching this, Bolton are in for a Besiktas-style hammering at Anfield on Sunday."
Anon via text
2016: Severin's fine, low free-kick has Atletico keeper Abbiati scrambling across goal and the Italian tips it away - top effort from the Dons man, that.
2014: Better from Tottenham - Bale's whipped left-wing cross is cleared as far as Berbatov, but the Bulgarian's volley skews harmlessly wide.
2011: Gavin McCann is forced to go off at the Reebok after coming off worse from a clash of heads, Mikel Alonso comes on in his place.
2008: More nerves at the back from Spurs, and the hosts are lucky to escape censure when Lee clearly brings Pritcher down in the box. The striker is wrongly ruled onside as he looked to finish inside the box, but Lee stumbles all over him as the chance goes awry.
2005: Comedy moment in the early stages at the Reebok - Calvo lines up a corner for Salonika, runs up - and kicks the flag. It's about as good as it's got so far in Bolton.
"It's times like this that you miss the sweet smile and dry whit of Martin Jol..."
Sebwinder on 606
2003: To their credit, Aberdeen have been troubling Madrid in the last few minutes with Severin and Touzani pulling the strings, but Diego Forlan forces a smart save with a low drive as Atletico prove they have the firepower in attack to counter.
2000: Finally, the Spurs fans have something to shout about as a belting run from Jermaine Jenas, the midfielder going past three Aalborg players, brings a last-ditch tackle from Jakobsen to earn the hosts a corner. It comes to nothing, but that's better from Spurs.
1959: The players are out and ready at the Reebok Stadium - let's hope their start is a little more comfortable than Spurs and Aberdeen's.
1956: Big shout for a penalty at White Hart Lane as Michael Dawson looks to have clearly been tripped trying to meet Jermaine Jenas's corner, but the appeals are waved away.
1955: Aberdeen, on the other hand, are daring to venture into Atletico's half for the first time. No real chances for the Dons, but their defence will be relieved...
1954: Spurs really have yet to get going at all at the Lane, and Aalborg are controlling things at the moment.
1951: It should already be 3-0 to Atletico - Aguero is the culprit this time as the striker strides clear of the Aberdeen defence before toe-poking wide. The Scots really need to keep them at bay in these early stages or it could get messy.
1949: Back in Madrid and it's another close shave for Aberdeen as Pernia's drive crashes off the post with Langfield beaten, the ball flying across goal and away for a goal kick.
"Was it Sartre who asked, "Why am I a Spurs fan?"?"
CycloneArmageddon on 606
1947 - GOAL! Tottenham 0-1 Aalborg
Ber-limey! It's exactly the start Spurs didn't want - Thomas Enevoldsen cuts in from the left before unleashing an unstoppable drive into the top corner from 20 yards. It's apparently the striker's grandmother's birthday today and she's in the stand to see it - how nice.
1946: It could a long old evening for Aberdeen - Atletico control possession from the kick-off and just 50 seconds are on the clock when a long ball finds Luis Garcia behind the Dons' defence, only for the Spaniard to poke wide.
1945: And we're underway at the Lane and in Madrid...
"How many goals has Berba scored this season? He really needs to get back on the scoring charts if he wants to STAY at Tottenham."
ronavidiggs on 606
"I'd take anything from Madrid tonight even if it's just pride, gutted to be missing it but I had time off for Moscow home game. Not that I'm 100% sure but I think the Moscow result wasn't bad for us, 4pts might still do it."
aberdeenmkey on 606
1938: The players are out at a chilly White Hart Lane and also at a hot and humid Vicente Calderon and we're minutes away from kick-off now.
"HAHA Berbatov is about as good looking as my dad after a night out on the tiles!!!"

"I'm expecting a Jenas masterclass this evening."

"In the Vicente Calderon. Atmosphere is electric, has been all day. C'MON YOU REEEEEDS!!!"

1933: A quick TV interview with the ridiculously good looking Dimitar Berbatov reveals the Bulgarian "never wanted it to end" under previous Spurs manager Martin Jol, but it is a "pleasure and an honour" to play for Tottenham. For my money, though, he's not quite as committal on his future as Spurs fans would hope... "I am here, that's your answer" he says.
"Whoops - Anelka and Diouf on the bench. We really need this win and without those two starting I'm struggling to see where goals will come from. Last time we played without them we drew 0-0 at home to Boro!"

1931: TEAM NEWS
Bolton make four changes to the side that beat Manchester United for the visit of Salonika, with Stelios, Gerald Cid, Gavin McCann and Christian Wilhelmsson all starting. Forwards Nicolas Anelka and El-Hadji Diouf are on the bench.
"Look out for Nomvethe (Aalborg midfielder)... That guy has potential."

1924: One result in the Uefa Cup so far this evening, with Mlada Boleslav coming away from IF Elfsborg with an impressive 3-1 victory. For those web users among you who want to keep up with the rest of the games not involving British clubs tonight, use the 'Latest Scores' tab above.
"When is the Uefa Cup going to go the way of the Cup Winners' Cup?"
redandblackT on 606
1922: Aberdeen, meanwhile, could well be up against it in Madrid. Atletico are fifth in La Liga and their young Argentine striker Aguero has already bagged four goals since the first round of this year's Uefa Cup. The Dons on the other hand, lie seventh in the Scottish Premier League and are still searching for their first group win in the competition this year. Hhmmm.
1915: And what about Bolton? Well their fixture would appear, on paper, to be a simple one. Salonika are looking to avoid a third successive 5-1 defeat on English soil, while the Trotters are fresh from a stunning win over Manchester United. Add to that the fact that Bolton are yet to lose a home game in European competition, and all looks rosy for Megson's men.
"I'd lose an arm and a leg, just for Bolton to lose and lets hope that Kevin Davies gets red carded then!"

1911: Tottenham, who will go top of Group G with a victory tonight, have never faced Danish opposition in a Uefa club competition, believe it or not, while it was Teemu Tainio's 28th birthday on Tuesday, bless 'im. Can Juande Ramos's side give him the perfect present at the Lane ce soir?
"Well with Toffees not playing today, all the best to the rest! No Kaboul - Hmm some good result for Spurs is a real possibility! ;)"

1907: News filtering through that the kick-off at White Hart Lane might be delayed because of an accident on the A10... I'll keep you posted.
1905:TEAM NEWS
Juande Ramos opts for a strong XI for the visit of Aalborg to Tottenham, the injured Younes Kaboul the only player to miss out from the weekend draw at West Ham. Young Pyo-Lee comes into the side in Kaboul's place and will start at right-back, with Pascal Chimbonda at centre-half, with Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov again paired up front.
1900: It's hotter than a pair of Gordon Brown's pants at Question Time tonight (ish) as three of Britain's finest (ish) continue their march towards Europe's finest (ish) prize on a balmy, warm winter's evening (ish).
It's round three of the group stages for this trio and victories are pretty darn important if they want to make things easy for themselves come the final round of matches next month.
As always I shall be relying on you people to get in touch to ensure this is the best informed, most representative, funniest e-commentary this side of, erm, Wednesday and the weekend. Nice one.
