 Kosanovic said Red Star could overturn the first leg deficit |
Red Star Belgrade coach Milorad Kosanovic says his side can progress to the Champions League despite the 1-0 first leg defeat against Rangers. Kosanovic said Nacho Novo's 89th minute strike in the third round qualifier at Ibrox was "lucky".
"Our chances are the same as before - 50-50. I think we have a chance," he said after the defeat.
"In games like this, you need to concentrate for 90 minutes but we didn't do that and Rangers scored."
Kosanovic, whose side will face Rangers in the return leg in Belgrade on 28 August, added: "They were lucky and my players didn't deserve that to happen to them."
