Jose Angel Ziganda thinks the tie is 50-50 |
Osasuna coach Jose Angel Ziganda refused to concede his side are now in pole position ahead of the second leg after a 1-1 draw with Rangers at Ibrox. Asked if he now expected them to reach the Uefa Cup quarter-finals, he said: "I don't think so. We played well and Rangers weren't at their best.
"So I think it's still 50-50. We played one of our best games this season and I was very proud of the players.
"We made a mistake at the end to allow then to score, but I am very happy."
Ziganda had gone into the tie with his side off-form in their domestic league and missing key players through injury and suspension.
"Before the game, a 1-1 draw would have been good, but the draw left a bad taste in our mouths," he said.
"We should have been more clinical, but we didn't sit back when we went ahead, we kept going for goals."
