Valencia win on away goals Striker Hernan Crespo rues a missed chance for Inter in Spain |
Valencia knocked Inter Milan out of the Champions League after holding the Serie A leaders to a goalless draw. The game was marred by a mass brawl on the pitch at the final whistle between both sets of players and staff.
Chances were few and far between as Valencia defenders Roberto Ayala and Raul Albiol produced a magnificent display to keep the visitors at bay.
Tempers flared on full-time when Valencia's Carlos Marchena kicked out at Inter's Nicolas Burdisso.
