Roma stunned Lyon with two first-half goals to dump the French side out of the Champions League. Roma took the lead halfway through the first half when captain Francesco Totti headed home Max Tonetto's cross.
They stunned the crowd seconds before half-time when Alessandro Mancini went on a superb solo run and finished into the top right-hand corner.
Sidney Govou missed a fine chance with a back post header as Gerard Houllier's Lyon side bowed out.
