Hargreaves has been out since September |
England midfielder Owen Hargreaves is finally ready to return to action for Bayern Munich on Friday after four months on the sidelines. The 25-year-old is back in training after recovering from a broken leg he suffered in September, and should play some part against Nuremburg.
"I've trained and not suffered any setbacks," Hargreaves told BBC Sport.
"I have been very patient over four months and a realistic target to return is Friday."
Hargreaves added: "I need to work on my endurance and some last minute things."

But it seems the England player will now return from the broken leg he suffered while playing for Bayern against Arminia Bielefeld on 17 September.
He was initially expected to miss six weeks but has been sidelined for four months.
The midfielder returned to light training at the end of November and was able to join his Bayern team-mates at their training camp in Dubai earlier in January.
He has been in full training for a week-and-a-half.
"I am not nervous but appreciate the fact that I'm fit again," added Hargreaves. "Your health is the most important thing but possibly something you take for granted.
"It will take a while to get back into rhythm of games and playing the full 90 minutes but that is something I look forward to.
"Competing, playing and winning games in front of 70,000 fans is something that is very special, not the sort of thing that you can emulate in normal life."
And the Bayern player is enjoying being part of the squad again after months of rehabilitation.
"I've been away for so long," he said. "One thing players really enjoy is being in the dressing room and surrounded by all the different personalities.
"I think it is unique - all 25 players together with a common goal. It is fun and great to be a part of."
