Welsh clubs gain tough Euro draw
Welsh Premier champions The New Saints will face Finnish title holders MyPa in the Champions League first-round.

The first leg is in Anjalankoski (12 July), the return in Newtown (19 July), the winners meeting FC Copenhagen.

In the Uefa Cup first round, Rhyl host FC Suduva at Belle Vue on 13 July, before travelling to Marijampole, Lithuania for the second leg (27 July).

Llanelli face Gefle IF in Sweden on 13 July, then plan to host the second leg at Stradey Park, Llanelli, on 27 July.

Their Stebonheath Park home does not have the capacity to satisfy Uefa regulations.

Stradey is the home of rugby sides Llanelli Scarlets and Llanelli RFC.

Uefa have verbally agreed to the venue, but the Reds are still awaiting official confirmation.

The Uefa winners will proceed to the second qualifying round, to be played over two legs on 10 and 24 August.

Survivors from that stage advance to the first round proper, played over two legs on 14 and 28 September.

The second qualifying rounds for the Champions League are played over two legs on 25/26 July and 1/2 August.

Survivors advance to the third qualifying round, that draw to be made on 28 July when another 18 teams enter.

The double-legged third qualifying round will be played on 8/9 and 22/23 August.

MyPa dumped Scottish Premier League side Dundee United out of last season's Uefa Cup second round, and have also beaten Motherwell.
