Sepp Blatter has hit out at Europe's top clubs |
Fifa president Sepp Blatter has hit out at G14 clubs' demands for compensation for players injured while playing in international matches. Blatter claims Europe's elite clubs, including Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal, are being greedy.
He said: "I am irritated by G14. We had a chat before and then they dropped this bombshell.
"Now they want even more money for the players they have pillaged from Africa and South America."
He continued: "Fifa cannot do this. If Chelsea want money for Didier Drogba then the whole of Ivory Coast will go under."
