Woodgate has been plagued by injuries since his move to Madrid |
Jonathan Woodgate will undergo tests on his thigh injury on Wednesday after limping out of Real Madrid's Champions League defeat to Arsenal. The centre-back, plagued by thigh problems since leaving Newcastle in 2004, suffered a hamstring injury nine minutes into Tuesday's 1-0 loss.
A Real statement said: "At the end of the match the medical services confirmed Woodgate has a strain.
"On Wednesday it will be examined, and a decision taken on his ailment."
