Ronaldo has hinted he may quit Real Madrid at the end of the season because he feels unloved by the fans. The Brazilian striker is under contract at the club until 2008 after arriving from Inter Milan for �24m in 2002.
But the 29-year-old said: "The fans have never accepted me. I'll consider that when looking at my future.
"I've always said that I don't want to be where I'm not loved. I've never felt at home at the Bernabeu and I will look at my situation after the World Cup."
The three-time World Player of the Year has been the club's top scorer in every season since he joined Real.
However, a succession of injuries and concerns about his weight have blighted his campaign, with fans jeering him when he was substituted in the win over Alaves at the weekend.
"As soon as I make an error people jeer me," he added. "They often get on the players' backs but we need fans that will support us all the time.
"I don't know how the fans will react to what I have said and, to be honest, I don't care."
Ronaldo has been linked with both Chelsea and Arsenal in the past.
