Robinho is seen as a bright prospect for Brazil |
Talks regarding a possible transfer of Brazil international Robinho to Spanish giants Real Madrid are set to resume, according to the player's agent. Wagner Ribeiro said he will arrive in Madrid after visiting the Santos star in Germany, where he is playing for Brazil in the Confederations Cup.
"Until that competition finishes, he doesn't want to think about anything else," said Robinho's agent.
Santos will re-open talks with Madrid over "the next few days", Ribeiro said.
According to reports, Real have first option on the 21-year-old forward,
who is believed to be worth 14m.
In 2002, Robinho helped Santos win its first national title since 1968 before they repeated the feat again last year.
A transfer to the Spanish giants would see him reunited with former Santos boss Vanderlei Luxemburgo.
