Barcelona striker Henrik Larsson will have surgery on his injured left knee at specialist Richard Steadman's Colorado clinic on Friday. The 33-year-old faces six months out after tearing a cruciate ligament in the win over Real Madrid two weeks ago.
"I am looking forward to playing football to a high level again," he told Swedish newspaper Expressen.
Steadman has already successfully performed the same surgery on Larsson's team-mate Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
