 Deisler missed most of last season through depression |
Bayern Munich have confirmed Sebastian Deisler has pulled out of the Champions League match with Juventus and returned to Germany for psychological treatment. The 24-year-old midfielder left Turin following discussions with coach Felix Magath and general manager Uli Hoeness.
Deisler was away from football for five months last year for depression.
On Saturday Deisler was dragged off at half-time against Schalke during Bayern's 1-0 defeat to Schalke 04 in the Olympic Stadium in Munich.
Bayern play Juventus on Tuesday.
