Real Mallorca 0-3 Newcastle (agg: 1-7) Sir Bobby Robson's Newcastle earned a Uefa Cup quarter-final showdown against his former club PSV Eindhoven after a 7-1 aggregate win over Real Mallorca. The Magpies secured a 3-0 win in the fourth round, second leg after goals from Alan Shearer and Craig Bellamy.
Shearer capitalised on a poor clearance from keeper Miki before firing home.
Bellamy, who was involved in a bust-up with coach John Carver this week, chipped in another and Shearer tapped in Olivier Bernard's cross.
However, striker Bellamy was not named in the starting line-up.
The Welshman, who missed the win over Charlton on Saturday because of a hamstring injury, was not risked and was handed a place on the substitutes' bench.
However, Aaron Hughes was ruled out with a calf injury, which meant that Andy O'Brien was moved to right-back and Titus Bramble came in as a centre-half.
Newcastle started in lively fashion and Shearer was fouled by Federico Lussenhoff in only the first minute.
Laurent Robert, who scored with a long-range free-kick in the first leg, tried his luck again but his swerving effort was pushed away by Miki.
Jermaine Jenas was also thwarted by Miki after a surging run into the box.

Toni Gonzalez wasted a chance for the home side five minutes before the break when he sliced the ball wide. Gonzalez was taken ill on the pitch soon afterwards and was carried off on a stretcher and replaced by Nino.
Shearer opened the scoring a minute after the restart following a mistake by Miki.
His mis-hit clearance fell to the former England captain 30 yards out and Shearer clinched his 23rd goal of the season by firing into an empty net.
His goal led to some of the Mallorca fans leaving the stadium, although Nene tested Shay Given with a dipping effort, which the Newcastle keeper saved comfortably.
Txomin Nagore then blasted a shot against Given's legs, while Nino dived to block an effort by Shearer.
Substitute Bellamy increased Newcastle's lead when he beat the offside trap, sped away from his marker and, with Miki committed, chipped into the net.
Shearer completed the rout with a minute of normal time remaining when he tapped in an inch-perfect cross from Olivier Bernard.
