Spaniard Victor Fernandez is the new coach of Champions League winners Porto, according to Portuguese reports. He replaces Luigi del Neri, who was sacked before taking charge of a competitive game amid allegations of poor timekeeping.
Fernandez, 43, was without a club but had previously coached at Celta Vigo and Real Zaragoza.
Former Chievo coach Del Neri was appointed in June to replace Jose Mourinho when he left for Chelsea.
