![]() | Milan sign Laursen ![]() Laursen celebrates scoring for previous club Verona AC Milan have announced the signing of Danish defender Martin Laursen. The Dane has been signed as cover because Brazilian Roque Junior is away on international duty so often. Milan vice president Adriano Galliani said the club were unlikely to sign more Brazilian players in the future because of the problem. "It's unfair that the Brazilian team can play 21 matches per season, getting players from their European clubs," Galliani said. Milan have had the same problem with goalkeeper Dida who who was hit with a one year suspension from the Italian League as part of the false passport scandal. Dida may move to Spain's Alaves if his suspension is not enforced by Fifa in other European countries. | See also: Other top Europe stories: Links to top Europe stories are at the foot of the page. | ||
