Kuhn's Swiss side play the Czech Republic in Euro 2008's first game

Switzerland's Euro 2008 preparations were disrupted on Monday when coach Koebi Kuhn's wife was taken to hospital after suffering an epileptic fit.

Kuhn, 64, accompanied his wife to hospital rather than meet his team at their training camp.

The Swiss FA said Kuhn was expected to join the squad on Tuesday.

Switzerland, who are in Group A with the Czech Republic, Portugal and Turkey, are due to hold their first training session on Tuesday.
